Jammu, May 14 (Hindustan Times). Shiv Sena Hindustan Jammu and Kashmir President Pt. Rajesh Kesari on Sunday formed the party’s new unit at Deoli village in Bishnah block, with Rajendra Kumar as president and Raj Kumari as women president, Chanchala Devi as vice president, Ritu Kumari as president, Lalita Kumari as general secretary, Anjali Kumari as secretary and Mosami Bala as treasurer. were appointed. Balveer Kumar, Balwant Fauji, Raj Kumar, Vishwanath, Labba Baba Sanjiv Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Darshana Devi, Rajni Devi, Jyoti Devi, Vijay Luthra were specially present on this occasion.

Kesari said drug abuse is affecting both urban and rural areas. The availability and use of various types of drugs is increasing, which poses a serious threat to the youth population. Jammu and Kashmir is grappling with the menace of drugs. Kesari said that due to the long border and Pakistan being the main hub of narcotics, Jammu and Kashmir has become a transit zone for drugs. Efforts to combat the drug menace, and often joint efforts, are key to this fight.

Kesari claimed that Pakistan has used drug/narco-terrorism as a weapon to create trouble in Jammu and Kashmir. Drug-addicted youth lose their cognitive abilities and lock themselves into the chain of narco-abuse. Cognitive impairment accelerates in J&K and provides impetus for radicalization of youth. Pakistan leaves no stone unturned to take advantage of the disorders of narco addicts, which is very unfortunate.

Kesari said there are many cases where drug trafficking has been used to finance terrorist groups operating in the region. The government has taken several measures to tackle the issue, including increased surveillance, crackdowns and arrests of individuals involved in drug trafficking. However, addressing this threat is a challenging problem due to the presence and high profits of the illegal drug trade and organized criminal networks.
