Kids using smartphone face mental issues : If a small child in your home is not eating or crying, are you free to give him a mobile phone? Such a picture can be seen in many homes these days. But do you know that doing so can be dangerous for your child’s mental health. Excessive use of mobile phone can cause depression in your child. Children may also complain of frequent irritability and anger.
Why give smartphones to kids?
It has become a belief among parents these days that in this era of competition their child should be smarter than other children. A smartphone is given to a child with the thought that using a smartphone will make the child smart. But doing so is considered dangerous for the mental health of the child.
A global survey has shown that the earlier a child is exposed to smartphones, the more likely they are to face mental health problems as adults. The results of this survey conducted for children are shocking. Children who use smartphones at an early age have been shown to have suicidal thoughts, feelings of aggression toward others, and disenchantment at an early age.
