Actually, a news is spreading fast on social media, Dhoni’s fans are sleeping at Ahmedabad railway station after the match was cancelled. Below is a post which is now going viral.
It started raining in the evening half an hour before the toss yesterday. It was around 6:30 pm local time and did not stop for at least the next two and a half hours. Although it stopped raining after 9:00 pm local time and the covers were removed, it started raining again shortly after and the match was decided to be played on a reserve day. After this, Dhoni’s fans from outside spent the night sleeping at Ahmedabad railway station.
Gujarat Titans will win without playing
Even on the reserve day, if it rains during the match and due to this the match cannot be played, then the winner will be decided on the basis of their ranking in the points table. That is, the team which comes first in the points table will be declared the winner. In such a situation, Gujarat Titans will win even without playing. Because, Gujarat team is at number one in the points table, while Chennai Super Kings is at number two.
