Party sources said on Saturday that not only Dilip Ghosh and Sukanth but also Swapan Dasgupta and Locket Chatterjee have expressed their opposition to Sonali’s rejoining the BJP. Swapan Dasgupta has said that the way Sonali Guha behaves and lives does not match the ideals of the party. This must be avoided.

In fact, Sonali had joined the BJP before the 2021 assembly elections but was not given a ticket. After this, she went to the Chief Minister’s residence in Kalighat and fell at Mamata Banerjee’s feet and wept as soon as the assembly election results were announced. After that she remained completely inactive politically for two years and now once again she is raising voice against Trinamool. Recently attacking Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, he said that Bua Bhatija family is looting people. He has reportedly applied to return to the BJP headquarters in Delhi. Here Locket Chatterjee has also said that Sonali is a completely selfish woman. They have no political ideals. That is why taking such people into the Bharatiya Janata Party will do harm.
