Deoria: Police have seized property worth 42 lakhs of gangster Badal

Deoria, May 15 (Hindustan Times). Srirampur police on Monday charged Badal Kushwaha with Rs. 42 lakhs in assets, who are accused of forming a gang and carrying out incidents of robbery and murder and are notorious criminals of the district.

Prahlad Kushwah, son of Badal Kushwah, a resident of Bhopatpura village in Srirampur police station area, is an evil miscreant. He forms a gang and carries out incidents on the UP-Bihar border. He was involved in robberies, murders and liquor smuggling. He built the house with illegally earned money. The report of which was sent to the SP by the Tarkulwa police in the past few days. On the SP’s letter, the DM ordered the police and the SDM to attach the gangster accused Badal’s house. Following this, the police initiated proceedings under Section 14(1) of the Gang Bandh Act against Badal Kushwaha.

On Monday, Srirampur police led by Bhatparrani’s SDM and judicial officer Vinay Kumar Yadav reached his village Bhopatpura, where his house was attached. The price of the attached house is estimated at 42 lakh 28 thousand rupees. Tehsildar Bhatparrani has been made Custodian of Kurk Bhawan. An announcement was made by blowing a bugle while taking possession of the property.
