Death of youth due to negligence of nursing home, uproar

Kanpur (Kanhapur), May 19 (Hindustan). A youth died on Friday due to negligence in treatment at Madhuraj Nursing Home located in Swarup Nagar Police Station area. The family alleges that the doctors and staff continued to extort money saying that the deceased youth was alive. Disgruntled relatives raised an uproar. After receiving the information, the police somehow solved the case.

Sarsol resident Bhanu Pratap Singh said that his son Raju Singh was injured in a road accident. who was admitted to Madhraj Nursing Home for treatment on 11th May. where he was undergoing treatment. The family says that the son was admitted here thinking that there is good treatment in the nursing home. But here everything turned out the opposite. Despite spending lakhs of rupees, the son lost his life due to negligence in treatment.

Pushpendra Singh, brother of the deceased, has alleged that the hospital staff took Rs 10 to 12 lakh and said that he would regain consciousness soon, and talked about regaining consciousness and continued to recover arbitrarily. Not only this, the family was not allowed to meet for two days and was told that he died suddenly today.

The brother of the deceased, Pushpendra, has alleged that after his brother’s death, the hospital management beat and ill-treated the family today.

In-charge Inspector Rajesh Sharma of Swaroopnagar Police Station says that one youth has died. A case related to road accident has been registered at Chakeri Police Station. The family members have not given any fresh testimony till now. If a complaint is received, further action will be taken.
