Datia: Katha pandal blown away due to storm, eight-year-old innocent injured

Datia, 27 May (Hindustan Times). A sudden storm blew in Aroni village on Saturday afternoon and the Katha pandal collapsed. Due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created. An eight-year-old Masoom has been injured in this incident.

In fact, during the ongoing Sri Vishnu Mahayagna and Srimad Bhagwat Katha at Shaipur Sarkar Mandir, half of the Katha pandal collapsed due to a sudden storm on Saturday afternoon. After few minutes it started drizzling. A child sustained a head injury due to an iron pipe in the pandal, who was referred to the district hospital from Indergarh after first aid.

On getting the information about the incident, all the senior officials of the district administration reached the spot and started the rescue work. As soon as the pandal collapsed, there was chaos for a while and people started running here and there. However, everything returned to normal in no time. It was reported that a total of 10 people, including eight-year-old Krishna’s son Patiram Parihar, a resident of Murera village, were injured.
