Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament building. But many opposition parties are opposing it. They are protesting the new Parliament building. And keeping distance from this program.

The CPIM has announced that it will not participate in the inauguration of the new Parliament building on May 28. Rajya Sabha member of CPIM Dr. John Britus has confirmed this

CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has alleged that the Prime Minister is doing the work of the President. Yechury said that when the foundation stone of Parliament House was laid, the President laid its foundation bricks around the perimeter. And it is about to be inaugurated. Which is never acceptable.

Yechury said that as per Article 79 of the Constitution, there will be a Parliament at the Centre. In which there will be a chairman. And there will be two houses. Parliament meets only when called by the President of India. The President will address the Joint House. After which the proceedings of Parliament have started.
