Karan Singh:Raipur: Noted storyteller Devi Chitralekha paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here this evening. During the discussion with Devi Chitralekha, the Chief Minister informed her about the Godhan Nyaya Yojana being run in Chhattisgarh for the conservation and promotion of mother cows.
Devi Chitralekha appreciated this effort of the government. On this occasion, he also presented a book of Srimad Bhagavad Gita written by himself to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. The Chief Minister told Devi Chitralekhan that our government is running Godhan Nyaya Yojana by Gothan for conservation and breeding of mother cow. Under this scheme, cow dung is being purchased at a price of Rs 2 per kg.
Due to which the income of cowherds and common people is also increasing along with the protection of cow breed. The Chief Minister also briefed them about cow dung production in cowsheds and how cowsheds are emerging as a strong model of rural economy. Devi Chitralekha appreciated this effort of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel. He told the Chief Minister that his organization was running the Gau Seva Dham Hospital in Palwal district of Haryana. Mother cows are served, protected and treated in this institution. He invited the Chief Minister to visit Gau Seva Dham Hospital. The Chief Minister thanked him for the invitation. Mr. Madhav Tiwari, Mrs. Pushpa Tiwari and Mr. Puneet Gaur were also present on this occasion.
