Congress workers protested against patients not getting facilities in government hospitals

Alleging that the patients coming for treatment at the sub-district RS Pura government hospital are not getting good facilities, the Congress workers staged a fierce protest against the health department and the government in the hospital premises on Saturday. He warned that if the health department does not improve its performance at the earliest, fierce protests will be held in the coming days and RS Pura Road will also be blocked if necessary.

A large number of party workers and local people were present during this protest led by senior Congress leader Chaudhary Mohan Singh. Before this, a protest rally was also taken out from him. On this occasion, Congress leader Chaudhary Mohan Singh said that a building has been constructed in the government hospital of sub-district RS Pura, but the patients are not getting any facilities. He said that there was a shortage of specialist doctors in the hospital due to which people had to be treated outside at high cost.

Apart from this, the shop opened to provide cheap medicines to the patients under Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi has been closed for a long time and ultrasound is also done only 2 days a week, due to which the patients have to go. He said that medicines are sent to the government hospitals at the expense of crores of rupees, but the patients are not given medicines internally, due to which they have to buy medicines from outside.

He said, if the government does not take any step in this direction at the earliest, a big agitation will be held in the coming days, the full responsibility of which will be on the health department and the LG administration. On this occasion, other people also raised questions on the functioning of the health department, saying that patients have to go to Darbar for treatment. Sardar Mool Singh, Dolat Ram, Ashok Kumar, Chamel Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
