On the occasion of Diwali, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya. While addressing the people in a program at Vantangiya village in Gorakhpur, he said that those who divide the society in the name of caste, region, and language have the DNA of Ravana and Duryodhan. During this, he reiterated the importance of social unity.
CM targeted the previous government.
Without naming anyone, CM Yogi said that some people divide in the name of caste, while some spread anarchy in the name of region or language. Remember, the elements that are dividing have the DNA of Ravana and Duryodhan at work. Targeting the previous Samajwadi Party government, he alleged, “If we get misled by such forces and give them a chance, they will do the same thing again – hooliganism, anarchy, riots. They will pose a threat to the safety of daughters and sisters. Somewhere they will grab the land of the poor, kidnap a businessman, shoot a passerby on the road, and incite riots before festivals. These people used to do the same thing before 2017.”
74 development projects inaugurated
After a new world record of Deepotsav was created in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister visited Vantangiya village on Thursday morning and inaugurated 74 development projects worth Rs 185 crore in various gram panchayats of the district. While wishing Deepawali, he appealed to the community to remain vigilant and united against divisive elements. The Chief Minister made it clear that anyone who tries to disturb the peace or harm the honor of women will be responded to with the full force of the law. In his address, the Chief Minister said that those who incite chaos during our festivals should know that this will have serious consequences.
