Ingredients for Creamy Broccoli

Broccoli – 1

Paneer – 1/2 cup

Fresh cream/cream – 2-3 tbsp

Curd – 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Green chili paste – 1/2 tsp

Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Oil – 2-3 tbsp

salt – as per taste

Creamy Broccoli Recipe

  • First cut the broccoli into big pieces.
  • Soak it in hot water for some time. Immediately put in cold water to retain its green color.
  • Take a deep vessel and add curd and paneer to it and mix well.
  • After mixing curd and paneer well, add fresh cream to it.
  • Now add black pepper powder, green chili paste, lemon juice, cardamom powder and salt as per taste and mix this mixture well.
  • Add broccoli pieces to this mixture and mix again.
  • Keep the mixed broccoli in the fridge for 30 minutes and add two tablespoons of oil to it.
  • Now return it to the oven. Bake them till they turn golden brown.
  • Your Creamy Broccoli is ready, serve it hot with onions and green chutney.

Advice –

  • Broccoli should not be kept in hot water for a long time, otherwise its color will change.
  • Keeping broccoli in the fridge for 30 minutes will make it crisp.
  • Creamy Broccoli can be roasted well on a non-stick tava instead of in the oven.
  • Instead of green chilli paste, finely chopped chillies can also be added.
  • If you do not like the taste of cardamom then do not add it.
