Chief Minister Yogi performed Rudrabhishek, Kalash Yatra started

Gorakhpur: At the new shrines of the nine deities built in the Gorakhnath temple premises, the second phase of religious ceremonies began on Monday morning to mark the abhishekam of the deities. In the ancient Mansarovar temple located in Andhiari Bagh, Rudrabhishek of Mahadev was performed according to rules. Then, the five girls were given an urn full of water and started the journey.

This Kalash Yatra was taken out for Srimad Bhagavatapurana Katha Jnanayagna and Sri Lakshminarayana Mahayagna to be held till May 21. On this occasion, a chariot procession of all the nine gods and goddesses seated on the chariot was also taken out. On reaching the Gorakhnath temple, the Chief Minister installed the Kalash in the shrine and worshiped the panchang.

Chief Minister Yogi reached the Mansarovar temple on Monday morning and worshiped Lord Bholenath. The ritual of Rudrabhishek was completed amid the chanting of Vedic mantras including Vilvapatra, Durva which are dear to Lord Shiva. After performing Rudrabhishek, he reached the reservoir. Where a large number of saints, male and female devotees, Vedapathi students, teachers, hosts etc. were present. Here the Chief Minister worshiped the lake and started the Kalash and Rath Yatra and presented a Kalash full of water to five girls. After this the journey to Gorakhnath temple started.

All steeped in devotion

Vedapathi students walk at the front of the procession as they greet the deities, blowing their conch shells. Those deities were seated on decorated chariots in procession amidst the sound of band instruments. Whose life is to be abhisheked by Gorakspithadhiswara Yogi Adityanath on May 21. After this the hosts were walking with a group of sages. A large number of women and girls dressed in saffron and yellow cloths, under the guidance of sages and sages, marched forward with the urn of faith on their heads, while the heads of the devotees bowed in reverence. As the Vedpathi students chanted Jai Shri Ram behind the Kalashdhari devotees, everyone joined in the chanting. Everything in this grand journey was steeped in devotion. Vedic students dressed in yellow kurta-dhoti and saffron turbans, conch and jai chanting Sri Ram are seen and pleasing to the ears.

Gorakspithadhiswara established the Kalur, worshiped Panchanga

Kalash and the Rath Yatra ended at the yagnashala in front of the new temples in the Gorakhnath temple premises. Here in the shrine, everyone’s urns were placed in a row. After this, Chief Minister and Goraksapithadhishwara Yogi Adityanath proceeded with the rituals under Sri Lakshminarayan Mahayagna by offering Kalash Puja and Panchanga Puja on the altar in the yagnashala. Various religious rituals will be held at the yagnashala daily from 8 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm till 21st May.
