Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Kicks Off ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign in Gorakhpur – Unveils Patriotic Initiative!

Gorakhpur (UP): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (Every Home a Tricolor) campaign by hoisting the National Flag at the Gorakhnath Temple premises on Sunday.

The Chief Minister took a selfie with the national flag and urged the state’s residents to participate in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (Festival of Freedom) celebrations. Yogi Adityanath is on a three-day tour of Gorakhpur.

He appealed to the people of the state to join this campaign ahead of the 76th Independence Day.

Last year, the Yogi government set a notable example by hoisting 4.5 crore flags across the state. Similarly, the government intends to display the national flag on residential and non-residential buildings, government and non-government offices, institutions, and more this year as well.

The Chief Minister also changed the profile picture of all his social media accounts, replacing them with the image of the Tricolor on online platforms.

On the occasion of the second Independence Day of the Amrit Kal (Era of Nectar), various events will unfold over a week. Silent processions will be held on Partition Day, August 14, in all the districts of the state, commemorating the tragedies of India’s partition and paying homage to the victims of the violence during that period.

Furthermore, as part of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ (My Land My Country) program, earthen lamps will be lit to honor the valiant sacrifices of our soldiers.

Moreover, relatives of freedom fighters, military forces, central police forces, and police department sacrifices will be honored in the districts. Kavi Sammelans (Poetry Gatherings) and Mushairas (Poetic Symposia) will also be organized.

Significantly, the Yogi government has prepared a date-wise program for the Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Mati Mera Desh events in schools.

Following the Chief Minister’s directives, basic and secondary schools in the state were open on Sunday for the implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Mati Mera Desh programs.

Special arrangements were also made for mid-day meals for the students.
