CBI raids at Noida, Delhi and Gurugram residences of Lalu Yadav associate Prem Chandra Gupta

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been conducting raids since Tuesday morning at the residences of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and leaders associated with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Bihar and Delhi-NCR in connection with land. – Job Scam Case.

According to information received from sources, a CBI team reached the locations of Premchand Gupta, close to Lalu Prasad Yadav, in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram this morning. Along with this, the CBI team reached the houses of some RJD leaders in Bihar.

Sources say that a CBI team reached Agiaon (Ara) village of RJD MLA Kiran Devi and former MLA Arun Yadav this morning, while another team also reached Patna to raid the houses of some RJD leaders.

It may be mentioned that Lalu Prasad Yadav is an accused in the case of giving job in exchange of land. This allegation was leveled against him when he was the Railway Minister between 2004 and 2009. Lalu Prasad is accused of taking land from people instead of giving them jobs in the railways. In this case, the CBI has also raided the Delhi-based residence of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
