Caught black marketing railway tickets

Chittorgarh, May 19 (Hindustan). The Railway Protection Force Chittorgarh team has tightened its grip against the black market of railway tickets. Acting on a tip-off, an e-Mitra operator has been caught, who was illegally creating railway tickets for people. Also he was charging 50 more per ticket. He will be produced in Railway Court Ajmer.

CI Nathuram Jat of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) said that information about black marketing of railway tickets was received from an informer. On receiving the information late on Thursday night, Inspector of Chittorgarh Post along with staff reached the shop named E Mitra located on Chittorgarh-Nimbheda road in Chittorgarh city. Montu Jaiswal, a resident of Sripura, was spotted at the counter of the e-Mitra shop here. Inquired about booking railway tickets from him. In which the accused and the operator admitted that he used to book railway tickets himself for the last one year. It works online at the above shop, including Aadhaar card online form filling and railway reserved e-ticket booking etc. He did not take any license to book railway tickets. Accused admitted that he created personal ID of IRCTC.

Hereby, by booking a railway reserved e-ticket, the price of that ticket will be reduced per ticket from Rs. Sells to needy persons taking extra commission of 50. He used to pay for tickets while booking railway reserved e-tickets from his personal ID through payment UPI from his Santi Chittogarh based HDFC bank account number. The RPF investigation revealed that a total of 24 e-ticket prints from the above individual user IDs were received from the shop in the past. Their investigation revealed that the cost of 24 railway reserved e-tickets was Rs 27,499. The RPF CI said that while conducting necessary action at the spot, a total of 24 railway reserved e-tickets produced by him, a laptop used to book railway tickets and his mobile phone were seized. This friend brought the operator to the police station. Advanced research in this case has been assigned to ASI Subhash Chand Sharma. After registering a case against the accused under Section 143(1)(a) of the Railway Act, the accused were arrested in accordance with the rules under Section 179(2) of the same Act. He will be produced in Railway Court Ajmer.
