Case registered against 5 Urus organizers for forced entry into Trimbakeshwar temple

Mumbai: A case has been registered at the Nashik Gramin Road Police Station against five Urus organizers in connection with the forced entry into Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik district. Hindu Mahasabha workers cleaned the temple by sprinkling cow urine on Wednesday. Hindu Mahasabha president Anand Dave told reporters that all temples in the state will be closed if the administration does not arrest those trying to forcefully enter the temple within 72 hours.

Urus organizers tried to force their way into Trimbakeshwar in Nashik district on Monday. This was vehemently opposed by the temple administration, leading to tension at the site. Following this, the Hindu Mahasabha demanded a thorough investigation into the matter, prompting Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to announce the immediate registration of a case and formation of a special investigation team to probe the matter.

Now after this a case has been registered against five people in Nashik Gramin Police Station. Additional Inspector General of Police Bji Shekhar, who is investigating the case, told the media on Wednesday that five people have been made accused in the case. A thorough investigation is being done in this matter. After a thorough investigation, the accused in this case will also be arrested.
