Car collides with parked truck, one dead, four injured

Kanpur (Kanhapur): An out-of-control car collided with a truck parked on the side of the road near Madhavbagh Market in Bidhanu Police Station area on Sunday morning. One person died in this accident, while four people were injured. On receiving the information, the police reached, admitted the injured to a nearby hospital and took possession of the body and took legal action.

Bidhanu police station in-charge Satish Rathore said that Shyamsundar (65), a resident of Virpur in Hamirpur, was going to Lucknow for treatment along with his wife Ashok Rani, son Arvind, daughter-in-law Anita and driver Lalit. The car suddenly went out of control near Madhavbagh Market in the morning and collided with a truck parked on the side of the road. Five people in the car were seriously injured in the accident. On receiving the information, the police immediately filed a case in the CHC. From where all were sent to Halat. Where Shyam Sundar died during treatment. All other injured are undergoing treatment.

Police say that the car driver suddenly fell asleep and the car collided with a truck parked on the side of the road. Further legal action will be taken based on the family’s complaint.
