Lucknow, Sambhavi Lahiri: Sara Ali Khan attended her first ever Cannes festival and looked breathtaking as she wore a beautiful saree designed by Sandeep Khosla. As she walked the red carpet, she made heads turn with the beautiful trail attached to her hair which was tied to a bun. With a very light makeup, she made sure that the saree is the main game of the show.
In the interview, she talked about how showcasing India and its beauty globally was the main aim behind her Cannes appearance. She also described her outfit beautifully and the purpose of wearing a saree.
She attended the premiere of the opening film of the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival – Jeanne Du Barry
Along with Sara Ali Khan, film critic and curator, Meenakshi Shedde also wore a saree on the opening day.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on the other hand, attended the Thursday night screening of the Indiana Jones And The Dial of Destiny. She walked the red carpet wearing a very unique and out of the box fit. Aishwarya wore a silver gown that included a silver hood. She completed her look with an open and straight hair and pairing it up with a red lipstick. The other celebrities who showed up to the 76th Cannes Film Festival were Esha Gupta and Urvashi Rautela.
