Bulldozers run over houses of Hindus from Pakistan, collector criticized

Following the orders of District Collector Tina Dabhi in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, the houses of Hindus displaced from Pakistan have been bulldozed under the leadership of Assistant Engineer Assistant of UIT. After which IAS officer Tina Dabhi is being criticized.

Houses have been demolished in Jaisalmer following Tina Dabhi’s order. More than 150 people, including children, have been rendered homeless. Now they are all forced to live in the sun under the open sky.

A few days before this, a bulldozer was fired at the house of Hindus displaced by Pakistan in Jodhpur who came to India after persecution and harassment by Pakistan.

It may be mentioned that the City Development Trust of Jaisalmer started the process of removing encroachment from the land of Amar Sagar Panchayat on Tuesday. Houses of Hindus from Pakistan have been demolished in Jaisalmer’s Amar Sagar area on the order of Collector Tina Dabi.

According to the administration, these displaced families are living in illegal houses on the banks of the Amar Sagar Lake. Due to which the flow of water in the lake was stopped. Along with this, this land is also being said to be very valuable. A large number of JCB, tractors and police staff were present in this action. Those who protested by removing the encroachment.

Significantly, the sarpanch of Amarsagar complained several times to the district magistrate and the UIT that people were encroaching on his land. Their precious land is being destroyed. The UIT sought help from the district administration to vacate land worth crores, following which eviction orders were issued for the squatters.
