South Dinajpur: An Indian smuggler has been nabbed by BSF personnel of 137th Battalion under Raiganj sector in North Bengal Frontier stationed on Indo-Bangladesh border at District Border Out Post (BOP) Durgapur. The arrested smuggler has been identified as Bikram Laha (28). The BSF has issued a press release on Tuesday giving the information.
According to information received, jawans nabbed an e-rickshaw (toto) driver near BOP Durgapur. When the jawans searched the e-rickshaw, a large quantity of contraband was found in it. An e-rickshaw driver who was trying to smuggle from India to Bangladesh. Indian national caught with e-rickshaw and liquor has been handed over to Balurghat customs authorities for further action.
