Boiler of sugar mill opened, two workers were burnt

Bahraich: In the Parle sugar mill of the district, the boiler of the mill suddenly opened. Due to which two employees were burnt. Both were taken to the Community Health Center from where they were referred to the District Hospital in critical condition.

Parle Sugar Mill operates in Parsendi of Kaiserganj Tehsil area. Satyam Singh (32), son of Arun Pratap and Anurag Pratap Singh (35), son of Narsingh Bahadur, residents of Bhupani village under Huzurpur police station area, work in the mill. Both employees were working Tuesday night. It was then that the boiler of the mill’s distillery plant was opened. Due to this, hot steam started coming out from the boiler and both the employees were engulfed in it. Both the employees were hastily admitted to the Community Health Centre, Kaiserganj. He has been referred to the district hospital as his condition is found to be critical here.

Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) Dr. Ankit Pandey said that the workers of the sugar mill suffered more burns. On the other hand, the family reached the district hospital after receiving the information about the incident.
