Jagdalpur, May 14 (Hindustan Times). After the issue of gym material sanctioned from MLA fund in the name of pre-matic boys hostel of Chitrakot Assembly’s Bastanar block came to light, the BJP has strongly condemned the matter and demanded the administration to conduct a high-level inquiry into the matter and take action against the culprits.

The BJP leaders say that Congress leaders from small to big are involved in corruption. If there is an investigation in Bastar too, the corruption of lakhs will come to light. Recently the ED has exposed the 2000 crore liquor scam of the Congress government. Similarly the rice scam is also going to be exposed, many scams are happening in Bastar too. BJP leaders say that being an MLA, he should have worried about the children’s future, but he did not think anything for the children. BJP leaders said that there is a possibility of corruption in Chitrakot Assembly not only in purchase of gym material but also in other constructions, which should be investigated.

BJP district president Rup Singh Mandvi said on Sunday that corruption is running rampant in Congress rule. MLAs are taking away the rights of children by misusing their position. It is unfortunate that the government is talking about providing a better education system and the MLA has killed the rights of children. He said school children were also involved in the Congress torch rally, and the children were injured. Congress is intoxicated with power, sarpanches are not allowed to work in panchayats, only congress workers are being given work, through whom scams are being perpetrated.

Former Chitrakot Assembly MLA Lachchuram Kashyap said that it is reprehensible for an MLA to announce the provision of gym material for hostel children and order the material at their residence. The MLA does not have the slightest concern for the girl students and neither do the officials, that is why they have done this kind of arbitrariness. He demanded the administration to investigate the matter and take strict action against the culprits.

Former MLA Baiduram Kashyap said that corruption is at its peak under Congress rule. As an MLA he should have worried about the future of the students and not getting the gym equipment provided to bring them to his residence is a serious matter in itself. He has demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter from the district administration. He has also warned of violent agitation if action is not taken at the earliest.
