BJP has captured the Gazipur Municipal Council seat for the sixth consecutive time

Ghazipur, May 13 (Hindustan Times). In Nagar Palika Parishad Ghazipur, BJP candidate Sarita Aggarwal got 19670 votes and defeated her rival SP candidate Dinesh Yadav by 3335 votes. Dinesh Yadav got a total of 16317 votes. SP candidate Rais secured 9825 votes from Nagar Palika Parishad Muhammadabad and won by 2514 votes from BJP candidate Sandeep Gupta. BJP candidate Jai Prakash Gupta secured 6291 votes from Nagar Palika Parishad Jamnia and won from independent candidate Anil by 3522 votes.

Similarly, SP candidate Riyaz Ahmed secured 4386 votes from Nagar Panchayat Bahadurganj and won by 812 votes from BJP candidate Arvind Kumar. From Nagar Panchayat Syedpur, BJP candidate Sushila secured 5707 votes and won by 459 votes against SP candidate Sarita. From Nagar Panchayat Sadat, SP candidate Suman Yadav got 2111 votes and won by 454 votes from independent candidate Shivanand.

From Nagar Panchayat Dildarnagar, BJP candidate Avinash Kumar Jaiswal won by 1913 votes against independent candidate Mu Alisher by 358 votes and Ruksana from Nagar Panchayat Jangipur against independent candidate Usha by 2334 votes by 117 votes.

District Election Officer Aryka Akhori and Superintendent of Police Omveer Singh were constantly visiting counting places to ensure complete fairness in counting. No untoward incident complaint received from anywhere.
