Jhansi, May 28 (Hindustan Times). Dipendrasinh Parmar, a salesman living in Siddheshwar Nagar, works at Ajay Kumar Sahu’s ACC cement firm in Jhansi. On Saturday, he was returning to Jhansi by bike after taking Rs 19 lakh from Jalaun-based conch businessman Sanjay Agarwal. Meanwhile, three bike-riding youths stopped near a canal bridge on Sesa Coach Marg under Poonch Police Station and started talking on the pretext of asking for directions. Meanwhile, he threw chillies in the eyes of the salesman and ran away with his bag full of notes.
As soon as the incident was reported, there was a rush in the police department. As soon as the information was received, the police force of several police stations including DIG Joginder Kumar, SSP Rajesh S reached the spot. The SSP said that the victim could not see in which direction the miscreant ran as chillies fell in his eyes. Three teams have been formed to nab the miscreants. The incident will come out soon. He also stated that at several stages of interrogation the victims were not in a position to say anything. An investigation is currently underway.
The miscreants had complete information about the salesman
Looking at the sequence of events, it can be inferred that the miscreants had accurate information about the salesman. It has been said that usually transactions between cement businessmen Ajay Sahu and Sanjay Agarwal were done through online payments. But on Saturday, Ajay Sahu needed money and as the banks were closed, he sent the salesman to Conch for the amount. Sanjay Aggarwal, a conch merchant, gave the amount of 19 lakhs to the salesman from his home instead of giving it from the shop. When Dipendra Singh returned to Jhansi, the miscreants carried out the incident on the basis of accurate information on the way.
