‘Bigg Boss 7’ fame Aijaz Khan got bail, serving sentence for 2 years in drug case

Ejaz Khan gets bail The Supreme Court has granted bail to Ejaz Khan, who has been serving a prison sentence for two years in a drug case. Ejaz was detained by Narcotics Control Bureau from Mumbai airport in 2021 in a drug case.

The NCB arrested him in March 2021 with 31 tablets of the drug Alprazolam. The total weight of which is said to be 4.5 grams. After this he was sent to Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. Now, after spending two years in jail, the Supreme Court has released him on bail. Ejaz Khan’s family was fighting the case for the actor’s release in the court for the last 2 years. In 2022, the Bombay High Court refused to grant bail to Ejaz. While rejecting the bail application, the court said, ‘Prima facie there are direct indications of Ejaz Khan’s involvement in the crime. It is also revealed that Ejaz Khan used to transact money, which resulted in illegal smuggling and procurement of narcotics.

Today i.e. on May 19, Ejaz is going to be released from jail on bail. He will be released from Arthur Road Jail this evening. Ejaz’s family is very happy that he got bail. His wife says that this the family Khushi ka paal hai for ke Tell that Ejaz was identified by NCB as drug trafficker Farooq Batata and his son Shadab was detained on the charge of being related to Batata. It was alleged that Ejaz himself used to buy drugs from Shadab Bata and consumed them. Apart from this, the actor was also accused of selling drugs.
