After this, Air India complained about it to the airport police. The incident is said to be on October 27. Air India informed that on October 27, an ammunition cartridge was found in the pocket of a seat on a flight coming from Dubai to Delhi. The cartridge was found after flight number AI916 landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

The airline spokesperson said in a statement issued on Saturday that the flight took off from Dubai and landed at Delhi Airport. Without giving details of the incident, the airline said that all the passengers disembarked safely after the cartridges were found. Air India said, “Air India complained with the airport police strictly following the prescribed security protocols.”
510 flights received threats in 16 days
This incident happened when the country’s airlines were constantly receiving bomb threats. Let us tell you that in 16 days, more than 510 domestic and international flights have received bomb threats, which later turned out to be false. These threats were mostly given through social media.
The minister held an emergency meeting.
Following the incident, the central government called an emergency meeting in the third week of October. Civil Aviation Minister K Ramamohan Naidu said law enforcement agencies are actively investigating all cases of bomb threats against airlines and the government is closely monitoring the situation. Naidu chaired a meeting with officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Home Ministry and Civil Aviation Ministry.
