Bhopal: The politics of Madhya Pradesh has started heating up due to RBI stopping the circulation of Rs 2000 notes. Congress MLA PC Sharma and Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh have accused the BJP in this regard. MLA PC Sharma has alleged that BJP had distributed Rs 2000 notes in Karnataka, but when the votes were not received, these notes were stopped to teach people a lesson. Along with this, the leader of the opposition has called it a decree of Tughlaki.
Former state minister and Congress MLA PC Sharma has slammed the BJP for stopping the 2000 note from circulation. He has said that he distributed Rs 2000 notes during the Karnataka elections. This is the process of torturing those who did not vote for BJP because people took notes and did not vote. Along with this, the leader of the opposition, Dr. Govind Singh, has called it a decree of Tughlaki. He said, tell the Prime Minister why he issued 2 thousand rupees note when it was supposed to be closed. Prime Minister Modi wants to keep people afraid. The first demonetisation resulted in the deaths of ordinary people. BJP leaders turned black money into white during demonetisation.
Significantly, the Reserve Bank of India has decided to withdraw the 2000 note from circulation, but the existing notes will not remain invalid. RBI has instructed the banks to exchange 2000 notes from May 23 to September 30. A maximum of Rs. 20,000 notes will be changed only. But, there will be no limit on depositing these notes in the account. Banks will no longer issue 2000 notes.
