Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again raised her voice. This time Kangana speaks amid the ongoing controversy on ‘The Kerala Story’. Even after many days have passed since the release of ‘The Kerala Story’, the controversy about the film continues. In such a situation, Kangana Ranaut has given a befitting reply to those demanding a ban on this film. Kangana says that it is wrong to ban ‘Kerala Story’ by some states even after CBFC’s approval.

Concluding her speech, Kangana said, “Banning a film passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is an insult to the Constitution. The states that have banned the story of Kerala are not correct. Directed by Sudipto Sen, the film depicts how women in Kerala were forced to join the terrorist group Islamic State (IS). After this story came out, the Kerala government is accusing the director of spoiling his image. In many states, there is a constant demand to ban the film.

According to Kangana Ranaut, people always complain why Bollywood doesn’t produce the films they like to watch. Movies like Kangana Ki Maane Toh The Kerala Story make people laugh. People want to watch such films and such films help the film industry.

Let us tell you that in view of the tension between the communities, the West Bengal government had decided to ban the film on May 8. Citing the law and order situation and poor viewership, theaters in Tamil Nadu banned its screening. Last week, the Supreme Court stayed the West Bengal government’s order to ban the film in the state and asked Tamil Nadu to ensure the safety of moviegoers.
