Bajrang Punia has accepted WFI president Brijbhushan Sharan Singh’s challenge to undergo a narco test. Punia replied that we are ready to conduct narco tests if the scams of the federation are to be counted. He further said that the girls who have complained are also ready to undergo narco test. Along with this, he has also demanded narco test of coach Vinod Tomar, Jitendra and Dhirendra.
Earlier Brijbhushan had said that I am ready to undergo my narco test, polygraphy test, lying director test. However, I have one condition that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia also have to go through all these tests with me. If both are willing to take the initiative, I promise, I will also take the test.
Even before this, Brij Bhushan had denied all the allegations leveled against him. Speaking in Lucknow, Brijbhushan Singh said he would hang himself if the charges were proved.
On the Supreme Court’s intervention, the Delhi Police registered a case under the POCSO Act and other relevant sections against Brij Bhushan. Statements of accused women wrestlers have been recorded under Section 164. Delhi Police also questioned Brij Bhushan. Wrestlers are demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan. The wrestlers’ strike has also received support from farmers and khaps.
