Bad weather in Uttarakhand, 2 dead as 200-year-old tree falls

News of rain and storm has come to light in Uttarakhand’s Jwalapur area. A 200-year-old tree fell due to bad weather. Suddenly a big tree fell and many people were buried under it.

Haridwar SSP Ajay Singh said about the accident in Jwalapur that many people were crushed due to the fall of an old and huge tree. He said that people have been rescued.

He said four people were sent to a local hospital after the rescue. SSP Ajay Singh said that a tourist from Sonepat has died after a tree fell near Chamgadar island.

After the accident, D Anas Jahid of Harimilap Mission Government Hospital Haridwar said that 5 people were brought to the hospital. Due to which two people have died. One patient has been referred to AIIMS Rishikesh.
