Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday took a dig at Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav. CM Yogi said that Babua has not yet become an adult. Yogi Adityanath campaigned for the by-elections on nine seats of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly and sought votes in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates. CM Yogi campaigned for Surendra Diler from Khair, Suresh Awasthi from Sisamau, and Anuj Yadav from Karhal.
People of Mainpuri are also facing problems- CM Yogi
CM Yogi targeted Akhilesh while addressing a rally in Karhal. He said, ‘Some people have a tendency which stays with them for life. Babua (Akhilesh Yadav) is not an adult yet, so sometimes he does such things which create problems for the people of Mainpuri as well.’
Targeted Akhilesh by taking the name of Mulayam Singh
CM Yogi said, ‘Netaji (Mulayam Singh) always opposed Congress. He used to say that one should not stay with it even by deceit, but SP has now distanced itself from Netaji’s values and ideals.’ CM Yogi said, ‘Mulayam Singh Yadav must be hurt by the actions of the SP leadership that his son has pledged SP to Congress and is hell-bent on destroying the party.’
This is how Akhilesh is called Babua.
It is known that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, political opponents had named Akhilesh ‘Babua’ and BSP chief Mayawati ‘Bua’ on the alliance of SP and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Taking a dig at the red cap worn by SP workers, the Chief Minister said, ‘Do not let the red cap-black deeds flourish. These people are conspiring and will again push Uttar Pradesh into anarchy.’
Tej Pratap Yadav is the SP candidate from Karhal.
SP has fielded Akhilesh Yadav’s nephew Tej Pratap Yadav from the Karhal seat. Yogi alleged, ‘Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party is playing in the lap of Congress while it was Congress that put Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) in jail during the Emergency.’
By-elections are to be held on these seats of UP.
