Ayodhya: The Ramayana Mela Committee thought of holding a four to ten day long fair

Ayodhya, May 29 (Hindustan). A meeting of the Ramayana Mela Committee was held at Mani Ramdas Camp in Ayodhya. The meeting was presided over by the vice president of the committee, Mahant Kamal Nayan Das. In the meeting, Acting General Secretary Kamlesh Singh informed about the approval of the amended rules by the Deputy Registrar of Firms, Societies and Chits of the committee.

In the meeting, the patron of the committee Dr. Nirmal Khatri expressed his gratitude for the successful organization of the Ramayana Mela in the past and talked about making the next Ramayana Mela better. He said that the last event was grand because of Ashish Mishra’s hard work.

The convenor of the committee, Ashish Mishra, presented the income and expenditure account of organizing the last Ramayana Mela. He sought everyone’s cooperation to make the next fair more grand and proposed to extend the fair from four to ten days.

At the end of the meeting the members of the committee paid tribute to Mahant Kaushal Kishore Sharan Phalahari, founder member and former Chief Minister Sheetla Singh. The speakers discussed their deeds and observed a two-minute silence for the peace of their souls.

On this occasion Nandkumar Mishra Peda Maharaj, Dr. Janardan Upadhyay, Sharad Kumar Tripathi, Deepakrishna Verma, Prabhat Kumar Sharma, Sharad Chand Kapoor, Shailendra Mohan Mishra Chhote, Alok Bansal, Surya Narayan Singh, Umesh Srivastava etc were present.
