Ayodhya: Construction work of Ramlala’s permanent idol started after Shilapujan

On Wednesday, the construction work of Ramlala’s fixed idol has started with pooja. In Ramsevakpuram on Wednesday, Vedic teachers worshiped Karnataka’s Shyamshila and started construction of an idol on the auspicious occasion. Under the leadership of Pandit Indradev Mishra, Principal of Karsevakpuram Veda Vidyalaya, Vedic Pandits worshiped Syamashila with rituals at 11.57 am.

An immovable idol of Shri Ram Lalla will be installed at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. The size of the idol will be 52 inches. Starting from the foundation, the total height of the idol will be around eight feet. The idols of the four brothers, including the revered Ramlala, currently in the temporary sanctum sanctorum, will be installed as festival idols in the temple. When the fixed idol of Ramlala will be worshipped. Five artisans from Karnataka are engaged in making the idol. Construction may take four to five months. Three rocks reached Karasevakpuram from Mysore in Karnataka for the construction of the idol.
