Even before the complaint, the accused Assistant Sub-Inspector Rekha Singh took Rs 14,000 as bribe from the complainant.
ACB Kota team led by Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Swarnakar arrested Assistant Police Sub Inspector Rekha Singh for accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
It may be noted that the accused Assistant Sub-Inspector Rekha Singh boarded the train immediately after receiving the bribe amount from the complainant. Based on this, the ACB team arrested the accused Assistant Sub-Inspector Police Rekha Singh from the moving train after dropping her at the next station.
