Assam gets first Vande Bharat Express, PM Modi gives green signal through video conferencing

Today Assam also got its first Vande Bharat train in the northeastern state. Today, PM Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express train for Assam through video conferencing. Just a few days ago, Odisha launched its first Vande Bharat Express train.

 

 

Last Sunday, Pratham Vande of Assam tweeted about Bharat Train.

PM Modi also tweeted about Assam’s first Vande Bharat Express last Sunday. “I am pleased to launch Assam’s first Vande Bharat Express tomorrow, May 29 at 12 noon. This state-of-the-art train symbolizes our commitment to provide speed, comfort and better connectivity. It will also boost tourism and enrich socio-economic development.

Frequency of trains five days a week

According to an official associated with Vande Bharat Train, the frequency of the train will be five days a week. There will be no frequency of this train on Tuesday. The new service will cover the 411 km distance between Guwahati and New Jalpaiguri in 5 hours 30 minutes and reach the destination. Most high speed trains will reduce travel time. Vande Bharat Express train service will run six days a week. People from the northeast will be able to experience comfort and speed while travelling.

Time of working commuters will be saved

Vande Bharat Express will be the fastest train in the region. It will help commuters including IT professionals, businessmen, students to save time. Vande Bharat Express is the fulfillment of Indian Railways’ ambitious plan to raise the standards and speed of rail travel in the country.
