Assam News: According to the report by the central water commission(CWC) the Brahmaputra River is flowing above the danger mark at Nematighat (Jorhat),pudhi mari (kam rup), and Pagladiya (Nalbari). According to an official report 4.88 in 16 districts of Assam .more lakh people are currently affected by the floods.

Assam Floods update: The serious floods situation remained in Assam even today more, than 5 lakhs peoples have been affected since this. This information was given in official reports, and relief and rescue works are going on. Both the state and central government are keeping an eye on the situation .on the other hand Regional Meteorological Department issued a yellow Alert warning on Saturday regarding heavy rain and thunderstorms in different.

According to the reports by the central water commission (CWC), the Brahmaputra River is flowing above the danger mark at the Nematighat,(Jorhat), puthin i,(kamrup ) and palladium,(Nalbari) According to official reports,4 out of 16 districts of Assam more than 4.88 lakhs peoples are currently affected by the floods .while two peoples have died due to floods. According to reports, the maximum impact of floods was in the Bajali sub-division.

Millions of people affected

About 2.67 lakhs peoples are affected by the floods here, while 80,000 in Nalbari and 70,000 in Barpeta Districts are vulnerable. The reports said that more than 35,000 people have taken shelter in 140 relief campuses .while 75 relief distribution centers are also functioning. State Disaster Force (CDRF), civil defense, government organizations (NGOs), and local people are cooperating in relief and rescue work.
