ASI Jonmani Rabha died in a road accident

Nagaon (Assam): Jonmoni Rabha, in-charge of Moriklang police station in Nagaon district, died on the spot in a road accident early this morning. Police said on Tuesday that ASI Jonmani Rabha was driving his car (AS-01EN-7273) towards Upper Assam. Meanwhile, it collided with an oncoming container (UP-78UT-4518) at Jokhlabandh.

The accident was so great that the wheels of the car were blown off. Jonmoni Rabha died on the spot in the accident. As soon as the incident was reported, the police team reached the spot and after much effort, Jonmoni’s body was removed from the wreckage of the car and sent to the hospital for post-mortem.

The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter. It may be noted that a few months ago, Jonmoni Rabha filed an FIR against her fiancee for cheating many people. After which he was arrested. After the arrest of Jonmoni’s fiance, the police also arrested Jonmoni and sent him to jail after the police complained of cheating.

Jonmoni Rabha took charge as the in-charge of Morikalang police post after his release from jail. She looked very happy these days. She was also seen singing on stage at the Bihu event.
