New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament building Rs. 75 coin will be issued. Giving this information on Thursday, the Finance Ministry said that the coin will have a diameter of 44 mm and will contain 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent silver, 5 per cent nickel and 5 per cent zinc.
The Ashoka column is printed on one side of this coin, with 75 prints below. On the right side of it is written ‘Panchattar Rupee’ in Hindi characters. While ‘Rupees Seventy Five’ will be printed in English script on the left side.
The reverse side of this coin will bear the imprint of the new Parliament Building. Above it will be written ‘Sansad Complex’ in Hindi, while below it will be written ‘Sansad Griha’ in English.
These coins will be minted at Kolkata Mint.
It should be remembered that the Mint is always under the control of the Ministry of Finance of the Central Government.
