An accused has been arrested in connection with the bomb blast at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting. This blast was carried out 10 years ago at Patna Junction. The STF team arrested the accused Mehre Alam in a raid at Sindhauli village under Ashok Paper Mill police station area of ​​Darbhanga late on Saturday night.

Earlier, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Mehr Alam and took him to Muzaffarpur, but he was absconding at that time. Following this, the NIA registered Case No. 612/13 against Mehr Alam on October 30, 2013 at the City Police Station, Muzaffarpur. He was absconding since then. The accused arrested in this case have already been punished.

STF has arrested the accused

On 27 October 2013, a bomb exploded at Patna Junction, including the Gandhi Maidan Sabha venue. In which 6 people were killed and around 82 people were injured. Mehr Alam was also accused by the NIA in the bomb blast case. The NIA team had earlier taken Mehre Alam as a witness in the case.

 

On 29 October 2013, Mehr Alam’s house at Mirpur in Muzaffarpur was raided. Unsuccessful, the entire team returned to Muzaffarpur with Mehra, where the entire team stayed with Mehra at Siddharth Lodge. Meanwhile, Meher suddenly ran away from there, scaring everyone. An FIR was lodged against Mehra on October 30, 2013 at Nagar police station in Muzaffarpur district. Now the STF team has arrested the accused.
