Another big achievement in the name of Indian cinema: the film ‘Drishyam’ will be made in Korean language

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer movie ‘Drishyam’ has got tremendous success. Soon the film will make a splash abroad. Indian production house Panorama Studios and South Korea’s Anthology Studios recently announced a partnership at the Indian Pavilion during Cannes Film Festival 2023. Producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Jai Choi were present during the announcement. After which it has been decided to remake Dhyam in Korean.

A Chinese remake of Ajay Devgan’s film Dashaman was also made, titled Sheep Without a Fear. Now this excellent movie series will be remade in South Korea. It is a matter of respect for the Indian film.

Talking about the Korean remake of Dhyam and the partnership with Anthology Studios, Kumar Mangat said, I am excited that the Shyam franchise is being made in Korea. This will not only increase its reach outside India but also give Hindi cinema a global presence. In all these years we have been inspired by Korean style. Now he got inspiration in Hamari Ek Film. What could be a bigger achievement for the Indian film industry than this?

On this occasion, Jay Choi also excitedly said that we are very excited to remake a widely successful Hindi film while maintaining the originality of Korean cinema. The remake has more significance as the first major co-production between Korea and India. Through our partnership, we will try to bring the best of both Indian and Korean cinema to the screen and create a meaningful remake that is as great as the original.

It is worth mentioning that the first part of Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Drishyam’ was directed by Nishikant Kamat. Tabu also played an important role in the film. The story of the film revolves around Vijay Salgaonkar aka Ajay Devgan, whose daughter commits a crime. To save his daughter from the police he does something that changes his whole life, he tries his best to save his family.
