An innocent eight-year-old girl was killed after being raped

Bhilwara: A sensational case of rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl has come to light in Sinhana village under Pander police station in Bhilwara district. The girl’s body was found in a dam outside her village. There were several injury marks on the body of the deceased. A team of Pandare police station and FSL reached the spot and collected the evidence after coming to know about the matter.

According to preliminary information, the relatives of the deceased took the body home without informing the Pandare police. The family members have called the girl’s death as a murder and demanded an investigation after finding a mark on the girl’s neck. On the other hand, this incident spread chaos in the village.

The body of an eight-year-old girl was found in a khal (enclosure) near Singhan village on Monday evening, said OP Naik, in-charge of Pandare police station. The dead body is that of Sunita, the eight-year-old daughter of Bhairu Bhil, a resident of Singhana. Seeing the dead body of the girl, the family started crying. Villagers had gathered at the spot. The relatives took the body home without informing the police. Later the police got this information.

DSP Chichipur and station in-charge Nayak reached the spot and took possession of the body and called the FSL team. The FSL team, which arrived late in the evening, collected the evidence. Marks have been found on the dead girl’s neck. In such a situation, the police are initially considering the death of the girl child as murder. Suspecting the murder of the girl, the family is demanding action from the police.

Pander police station in-charge Om Prakash Nayak said the deceased had left her home to play in the police station area around 3 pm. After not returning home in the evening, the mother and other relatives searched the village. Meanwhile, the dead body was found in a dam near a field outside the village. A case has been registered on the report of the girl’s mother. The mother has accused the daughter of luring her and raping her. The station officer said that after the postmortem, the dead body has been handed over to the relatives and an investigation has been started.
