Amreli: Another leopard attack in Amreli, ate two year old child, died during treatment

Amreli: The terror of wild animals is increasing in Amreli district, the third incident of wild animal attack has come to light here in a week, in the third incident a child has died in the attack. The leopard attacked the child late at night in Katar village of Rajula. Suddenly the leopard attacked the child after coming to the residential house, in which the children died.

According to information, a leopard suddenly attacked a child in a residential area late night in Katar village of Amreli. Here a 2-year-old child of a Maldhari family was hugged during a leopard attack. However, soon after the leopard attack, the family showed courage and the leopard ran away leaving the child. When the child was seriously injured in the leopard attack, he was referred to Rajula Civil Hospital for first aid, where as the condition of the two-year-old child deteriorated, the child was later referred from Rajula to Mahuva Hospital for better treatment.

However, the two-year-old Manav died before reaching Mahuva as the child’s condition was critical. In particular, the growing population of leopards has increased movement into residential areas, and attacks on humans are on the rise.
