Manoj Bajpayee, the acclaimed Bollywood actor, and his wife, Shabana Raza, have made a significant investment in commercial property in Mumbai. This investment has created quite a buzz in the entertainment industry as they become neighbors to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and actress Kajol. In this article, we will delve into the details of Manoj Bajpayee’s latest real estate venture in Mumbai, shedding light on the financial aspects and the intriguing connections within the Bollywood fraternity.

The Mumbai Connection

Manoj Bajpayee and his wife have invested a whopping ₹31 crores in a commercial property project located in Andheri, Mumbai. This project, developed by Veer Savarkar Projects, is situated on the 12th floor of the Signature Building in Oshiwara. The couple has acquired four office spaces within the building, each covering approximately 1,905 square feet. Let’s break down the investment and understand the implications.

Stamp Duty Payment of ₹1.86 Crores

In an economic times report, it was revealed that Manoj Bajpayee and his wife paid a stamp duty of ₹1.86 crores for their investment. This hefty amount is a testament to the scale of their real estate acquisition.

Bollywood’s Real Estate Interests

Manoj Bajpayee is not the only Bollywood personality making substantial real estate investments in Mumbai. In September, Amitabh Bachchan acquired approximately 8,400 square feet of office space in Oshiwara at a cost of nearly ₹29 crores. The four units he purchased are located on the 21st floor of the building.

But the connections don’t end there. Kajol, in July, secured an office space measuring around 2,100 square feet in the same tower for ₹7.64 crores. In April, her husband, Ajay Devgan, bought five office spaces within the same building for a whopping ₹45 crores.

Rumors also suggest that Kartik Aaryan has acquired a 2,100 square feet office space in the project for ₹10 crores. Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh have jointly invested ₹9 crores in another office space within the building.

Conclusion

Manoj Bajpayee’s substantial investment in Mumbai’s real estate market adds another layer of intrigue to the already fascinating world of Bollywood.
