Meanwhile, the department that is being discussed the most in the state is the one headed by the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath himself. Actually, we are talking about the Uttar Pradesh PWD department, whose three clerks are being discussed not only in the department, but their influence is being discussed even in the Chief Minister’s office. The names of these three PWD clerks are Virendra Yadav, Omprakash Patel and Virendra Kumar Yadav.

Let us tell you that these three government employees have been posted on the same post for the last 20 years. They have never been transferred in the last 20 years. These three clerks were also accused of raping and then brutally murdering a Dalit PWD woman employee during Covid, but no action was taken against the three. When the Backward Classes Commission showed strictness, the Home Department ordered an inquiry into the matter, but no one knows whether the investigation started or not. The State Women’s Commission, in order to take strict action against the accused, ordered their transfer to distant divisions on the basis of the communication of the Minister of State for PWD Department Kunwar Brijesh Singh. Despite this, the file is still being moved here and there for 4 months, but no action is being taken.
Officers were found guilty in the investigation, but no action was taken
However, in the meantime it has definitely come to light that such technical mistakes are made in the file and it is forwarded, on which no action can be taken. However, this subtle and minute mistake has been caught by the head of the department, Ajay Chauhan. In this case, BJP MLA from Unnao, Anil Singh has written a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath to investigate the disproportionate assets of the three clerks and even dismiss them from service. After this, the Chief Secretary gave the order and in the preliminary investigation, all three were found guilty, but still no action was taken against them.
Is everything going well in PWD?
A few days ago, the Prime Minister’s Office ordered an investigation, based on a letter in which a serious allegation was made against one of the three babus that the money collected by UP PWD during the Pulwama attack was kept in his personal account and the interest was earned for years, the amount of which is said to be in crores. Despite this, no action was taken. There is no information whether any investigation was done in this matter or not. Now that the file of these three babus has reached the Chief Minister’s Office, sources are saying that there too some people of some section are trying their best to save the babus. In such a situation, the lack of any conclusion of the investigation pending for months is definitely a big indication of all not well in the PWD.
