Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam’ will now be a Korean remake

Mumbai: Mohanlal’s original Malayalam film and Ajay Devgan’s Hindi remake ‘Drishyam’ will now be made in Korean. A contract has been signed between the Hindi film producer and the Korean film studio for this. This is the first time that the legal rights of a Hindi film made in the Korean language have been purchased. After being made in Malayalam, this film has been made in seven different languages. Three of these are foreign languages. Now the eighth episode will be in Korean.

The Korean remake will star Song Kang Ho and the film will be directed by Kim Ji Woon. Kong Kang Ho became famous all over the world due to the movie ‘Parasite’.

The original film ‘Drishyam’ was made in Malayalam in 2013. After this, its second part was released in 2021. This film was released in Hindi in 2015 and the second part was released in 2022. After the tremendous success of the film, it has been produced in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Sinhala (Sri Lanka), Chinese and now preparations are being made to make it in Korean.
