Mathura, May 17 (Hindustan). A surprise check by the Divisional Railway Manager on Tuesday has caught six unauthorized vendors under the drive campaign. From whom railway revenue of thousands of rupees has been recovered. Meanwhile, the railway manager inspected four trains.
Tuesday under the direction of Divisional Railway Manager Anand Swarup and Station Director/Mathura S.K. A drive was conducted at Mathura Junction station on Wednesday under the guidance of Srivastava to prevent unauthorized vending and rail crossings. During this drive, 06 unauthorized vendors were caught during check of trains on arrival of Train No. 18477, 11078, 20807 and 12716, from whom Rs. 4870/- were collected and credited to Railway Revenue.
It may be noted that regular measures are being taken to ensure availability, quality, cleanliness and sale of catering items at reasonable prices in catering units located in Agra Division. Indian Railways, North Central Railway, Agra Division is always ready to provide proper quality catering services to the passengers. Passengers are requested to purchase food from authorized licensees only and not to pay more than the prescribed price.
In this checking campaign, Station Director Mathura S.K. Srivastava, Pinku Gautam/Divisional Commercial Inspector, Amit Bhatnagar/Divisional Commercial Inspector, Ashok Kaithwas/CTI, Raghuvar Dayal/CTI, Ram Gopal Singh/CTI, SK Lavania/CTI and Krishnavtar/Parcel Porter were present.
