Mumbai: It is known that Akshay Kumar’s ‘Oh My God Too’ has finally been decided to release in cinemas.

Akshay tried hard to sell the film directly on an OTT platform. But, lately OTT platforms have been burning after seeing the name of a big star paying huge amount, now they are taking steps to buy the films. So, with Akshay not getting the expected value, he has finally adopted the strategy of doing an OTT deal after grossing slightly better than the theatrical release.

Now the OTT platforms are not ready to directly release those films, which are not specially made for OTT. They ask the producers to check the commercial value of the film at the box office first. Then based on that it decides how much to pay the film. The sequel is coming 11 years after the success of Akshay Kumar’s 2011 hit film ‘Oh My God’. This time he will be seen in the role of Lord Shiva in ‘Oh My God Too’. However, film industry circles say that the credit for the success of the original film actually goes to Paresh Rawal. Apart from this, the script of the film was equally strong.
