Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation project engineer Janardan Singh has also been suspended following news of his connection with sacked MP Police Housing Corporation contract engineer Hema Meena. Following the order of Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, the Home Department has issued orders to suspend Project Engineer Janardan Singh on Thursday.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra told the media on Thursday that action has been taken by the Lokayukta Police in Hema Meena’s case. A serious complaint has also been received against the project engineer Janardan Singh. I am ordering the suspension of the officers. Following the Home Minister’s order, orders were issued by the Home Department to suspend Engineer Janardhan Singh.

The order states that Hema Meena was working under Division Sagar, in-charge project engineer of Janardhan Singh for a long time. So it was Janardhan Singh’s duty to effectively supervise Hema Meena. Its oversight failure has tarnished the image of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation. Therefore, Project Engineer Janardhan Singh has been suspended with immediate effect and posted at Bhopal headquarters. After the suspension, a departmental inquiry will be started against the project engineer Janardan Singh. If Janardhan Mishra is found guilty, he will be fired like Hema Meena. Let us tell you that illegal assets worth crores of rupees have been found with Hema Meena in the proceedings of the Lokayukta. This property has been built by Hema with the help of Janardan Singh. There was a complaint of corruption against both of them earlier.
