Mumbai: Veteran actor Shakti Kapoor will be seen in the role of a villain in a Bollywood film after a long time. It is reported that Shakti Kapoor is playing the role of a gangster in Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Animal’.
Most of the shooting of this film, which will be released next August, has been completed. Along with Ranbir is Rashmika Mandana as the heroine.
Apart from this, Bobby Deol is playing Ranbir’s rival in the film. Anil Kapoor and Tripti Dimri will also be seen in the film.
Shakti Kapoor’s role is that of a gangster of yesteryear. He has completed the shooting of his part. Shakti Kapoor impressed as the main villain in many films of the 70s and 80s. Later he also did many comedy films with Kader Khan. He has not been active in Bollywood for some time now. However, his daughter Shraddha Kapoor has become a well-known star of Bollywood.
